We are now looking for a Full-stack web applications software architect to join our Hardware Infrastructure team! Our team is building new infrastructure to deliver highly available services to run scalable web services, development environments, repositories, databases, data streams, and data visualization frameworks. This software development team is a multifaceted Agile software team with high production quality standards, producing tools used by engineering across the company for tracking, triaging and debugging various kinds of data processing flows. We are looking for motivated engineers to build and maintain a new generation of infrastructure that will host these services.What you’ll be doing:Participate in the full life-cycle of tool development, test, and deployment of web applications and services for test automation and chip verification.Work closely with other team members and internal customers to understand their processes, requirements, and needs.Design interfaces that are efficient and easy to use for hundreds of engineers throughout the world.Build microservices that are reliable, scalable, and maintainable.What we need to see:8+ Years of delivering reliable and scalable services and applications. Bachelors degree CS or a related field (or equivalent experience).Proven knowledge of Java and Python.Background with Javascript/TypeScript and Node.jsExperience with design and development of distributed microservices, and detailed knowledge of object oriented design, data structures and algorithms.Excellent planning, presentation, and general communication skills.In depth understanding of locking, multi-threading and database concepts.Experience with Elastic Search, Kafka, SQL, and at least one non-relational databaseFamiliarity with Linux ecosystems (including development and debugging tools)Knowledge automated testing infrastructureExcellent interpersonal skillsWays to stand out from the crowd:Some experience with or understanding of the chip design process and/or EDA verification workflowsKnowledge of JavaScript frameworks like Ember.js, Vue.jsFlexibility/adaptability for working in a vibrant environment with different frameworks and requirements.HPC cluster or other distributed computing experience.Familiarity with perl or C++ and with AI frameworks for development productivity#LI-HybridYour base salary will be determined based on your location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
