NVIDIA is looking to hire a Development Engineer for the Interconnect Design team in Roskilde, Denmark. We’re looking for a driven and technically skilled engineer to join our team, focusing on the design, customization, characterization, and productization of high-speed optical transceivers. In this role, you'll take full ownership of projects — from interpreting marketing requirements to defining specifications, leading lab validation, and driving products to launch. Success requires strong technical acumen, hands-on lab experience, and the ability to work effectively with global, cross-functional teams.What you’ll be doing:Working hands-on in a high-speed optical systems lab to test and validate transceiversLeading technical projects from concept to production, coordinating across multiple teamsCollaborating with stakeholders across various engineering disciplines, marketing, and operationsWhat we need to see:Master’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Electrical Engineering or related field3+ years of experience in high-speed digital communicationsWorking knowledge of RF testing methodologies and equipmentBasic understanding of optoelectronic components and their testingProactive, confident, and self-motivated individual with a strong product mindsetExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishProficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, MATLAB, etc.)Ways to stand out from the crowd:Experience in high-speed optical communication systems and optical designBackground in electrical circuit designFamiliarity with high-speed packaging techniquesKnowledge of thermal management strategies in electronic systemsUnderstanding of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) and electromagnetic interference (EMI)​With competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package, NVIDIA is widely considered to be one of the technology world’s most desirable employers.
