NVIDIA is seeking a Manager and Technical Lead of Network Support within the IT. Infrastructure organization. In this role, you will contribute to NVIDIA’s global network operations, ensuring reliability, scalability and efficiency goals are defined and met. You will be leading a team of network support engineers to bring in a data driven approach to operations, with focus on observability, well defined success metrics, and making continuous improvements. The successful candidate would be able to leverage an execution mindset to facilitate effective translation of strategic plans to incremental delivery of impact to the business. Structured thinking and problem-solving skills, along with exceptional communication abilities will be crucial for success in this role as you build strong teams that partner with engineering and operations teams across NVIDIA.What you will be doing:Your main focus will be on ensuring and improving upon the network health through as observed through operational signals and measured through customer experience metricsWork closely with leadership on evolving the current support model and processes to a more data driven, automated, SRE model.Provide technical leadership, direction, and strategy for a growing team of reliability experts focused on networking support and operations.Set the technical vision, strategy, and roadmap for network operations in partnership with the key infrastructure and partner teamsWork across Network Architecture, Network Deployment and partner well to establish run books, regular training sessions and ensure we build the network to be self-healingWork very well in understanding RCAs from events and incidents and work with our AI operations to enrich our observability tooling for better full stack view of the network to applications.Influence the architecture of the Nvidia networks both on-prem and in the clouds.What we need to see:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, related technical field, or equivalent experienceExperience building and growing teams that are geographically distributed, appreciate local operations and bring in a global perspective, following standards.Demonstrated technical expertise in the networking domain covering technologies in routing and switching such as EVPN, BGP, OSPF, VXLAN, switching, etc.Ability to do technical deep-dives into networking, operating systems, code, and storage, and verbally and cognitively agile enough to hold your own in a strategy discussion with NVIDIA’s executive team and peer SMEs.Ability to identify trends and promote solutions that solve challenges efficiently across multiple product areasLeverage metrics on team and ability to generate reports on performance and capacity through tools such as ServiceNow and PowerBIExcellent innovative thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.10+ overall years of combined experience in network architecture, network engineering, network SRE, and network operations, including 4+ years in a leadership role. A strong foundation in network operations and SRE.Ways to stand out from the crowd:Experience in running networks at scaleIn depth knowledge in technical areas such EVPN, MPLS-SR, Cumulus Linux, or similarKnowledge of SRE principles (observability, SLOs, SLIs, logging, etc)Familiarity with leveraging tools such as Netbox/Nautobot, Prometheus, Grafana to monitor and manage a global network
