NVIDIA is looking for a motivated manager to lead a new and growing firmware development team, supporting next generation datacenter server solutions. What you’ll be doing:Driving a global team of firmware developers to achieve program success with high quality using NVIDIA Product Design Life Cycle and support factory, new NPI productsDesigning, implementing, and delivering innovations for managing GPU based AI servers with focus on OOB management, firmware development, server architecture and building systems for the enterprise.Leading design or server manageability and security design concepts.Designing system level solutions including complex hardware and firmware interactions.Designing and developing solutions using industry standard APIs such as Redfish, OpenBMC, DMTF PLDM/MCTP and OCP standards.Contributing and driving open standards.Enhancing a firmware ecosystem from partner factories to data center deploymentsWorking closely with hardware teams to influence hardware design and review HW architecture & schematics.Working with QA/Test architects to come up with proper test tools and automation for qualifying the whole system software and firmware stack.What we need to see:Master’s Degree, or a PhD; in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent experienceOver 8 years of overall experience with a proven track record as a high-performing individual contributor, including more than 4 years of successful team management experience.Ability to lead a team of developers on aggressive schedules, driving full PLC solutions that are time to market.Domain expertise in Firmware development on X86 or ARM Platforms including BMC-BIOS communication, thermal management, power management, firmware update, device monitoring, firmware security, etc.Solid experience of end-to-end delivery of high-end enterprise servers from definition to customer deployment.Experience working closely with global partners and customers.You should possess excellent written and oral communication skills, good work ethics, high sense of team-work, love to produce quality work and commitment to finish your tasks every single day.
