In this dynamic role, your responsibilities include:

  • Acting as technical lead in PepsiCo’s Operations Center to drive system and technology (S&T) stability.
  • Spearheading AIOps-based Command Center success through anomaly detection, proactive incident resolution, and senior management reporting.
  • Partnering with operations leads and subject matter experts (SMEs) to implement monitoring and automation best practices for maximum business value.
  • Working with DevSecOps teams to ensure service reliability and reduce business impact.
  • Collaborating with Major Incident Managers and MSPs to pinpoint root causes and automation opportunities for high/critical incidents.
  • Providing technical guidance to team members and vendors while identifying stability improvements.
  • Aligning with Problem Management and Major Incident Management (MIM) for enhanced monitoring.
  • Improving MTTR for major incidents and MTTD through observability and hyper-automation collaborations.

Qualifications & Requirements

PepsiCo seeks proven professionals with:

  • 5+ years in Compute Operations or Compute Engineering roles.
  • 5+ years in IT Command Center environments.
  • Hands-on experience with technologies: Azure, AWS, PCF, Kubernetes, Linux, Windows, VMware, Cisco, F5, Palo Alto.
  • Expertise in observability and AIOps tools including Splunk, ElasticSearch, AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, BigPanda, MoogSoft.
  • Proficiency in automation: Ansible, UiPath, ServiceNow ACC, Python/PowerShell scripting, REST/API development.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks, Agile/Scrum, and vendor management.
