Role Overview

As a Técnico de Segurança do Trabalho II (Occupational Safety Technician II) at PepsiCo's site in Feira de Santana, Bahia, you will play a pivotal role in building a safe, sustainable, and compliant workplace across administrative areas, manufacturing, warehousing, and more. This full-time position supports EHS (Environment, Health, and Safety) leadership in operationalizing management systems, conducting audits, tracking performance indicators, and driving continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

Your impact will be felt through hands-on contributions to safety excellence:

• Support the reduction of workplace accident indicators and manage critical equipment service providers (elevators, pallet trucks, forklifts), including document validation and homologation.
• Participate in continuous improvement programs to strengthen EHS culture, monitor indicators, prepare reports, and implement cultural programs.
• Develop and apply training for employees based on their roles, provide technical safety support across all areas, and manage hazards and risks with corrective actions.
• Handle EPI (Personal Protective Equipment) and EPC (Collective Protection Equipment) management, third-party safety, and participate in meetings with transport, warehouse, logistics, and sales teams.
• Conduct risk assessments (LPR - Hazard and Risk Surveys), ensure legal requirement implementation, support labor inspections, and perform GEHSMS audits per ISO/NBR/OHSAS standards.
