Job Description

Join Okta as a Account Executive, Strategic Inside Sales (SF). Okta is the leading independent identity provider, trusted by over 18,500 organizations worldwide. We help organizations securely connect people to technology. As an Account Executive in Strategic Inside Sales, you'll drive the full sales cycle for enterprise subsidiaries, accelerate pipeline growth through upsells and renewals, and partner with field teams to target new business in assigned territories. This role is pivotal in expanding Okta's enterprise customer base using our Okta Platform and Auth0 Platform for secure identity management. You'll enjoy an expedited path to enterprise selling in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with Area Directors and Regional Sales Managers to strategically target new business opportunities within their territories • Own the complete sales process for subsidiaries of Enterprise customers, including discovery calls that build pipeline and generate revenue • Manage upsell and cross-sell processes for existing enterprise customers to maximize ARR • Drive deals forward by executing product demos, quotes, proposals, and business value analyses (BVAs) • Partner with Okta’s Customer First team to analyze customer health, identify churn risks, and uncover expansion opportunities • Collaborate with Enterprise Account Directors and Renewals Managers on account planning to build pipeline and book recurring revenue What We're Looking For: • Prior experience achieving quota in a Sales Development or lead generation role within a B2B SaaS organization • 3+ years of closing deals or account management experience in a B2B SaaS environment • Proven ability to consistently achieve quarterly sales quotas in consultative selling • Strong technical aptitude with proficiency in CRM systems like Salesforce.com, Word, and Excel • Experience independently running qualification calls, discovery, and product demos What We Offer: • Competitive compensation with equity and benefits • Health, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO, parental leave, and professional development • Hybrid work options and inclusive, collaborative culture Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
