As an APJ Presales Solutions Architect, you'll blend customer-facing IAM solution design with strategic partner enablement to scale Okta's identity security across the Asia-Pacific Japan region. This high-impact role drives complex enterprise deals with GSIs, cloud partners like AWS and Microsoft, and direct customers by architecting zero-trust identity solutions using Okta's Workforce and Customer Identity Clouds. Reporting to the APJ Field CTO, you'll elevate Okta's presence in the identity ecosystem, influencing product adoption and secure architectures that reduce enterprise risk. Key Responsibilities: • Collaborate with enterprise customers on workshops and whiteboarding to design IAM architectures featuring Okta SSO, Adaptive MFA, Identity Governance, PAM, Customer Identity, and Threat Detection • Engage marquee customers and senior stakeholders to articulate zero-trust architectures and defendable identity postures that align with business objectives and reduce risk • Enable partners through sessions, co-innovation sprints, and solution patterns to scale technical capabilities across GSI and cloud ecosystems like AWS and Microsoft • Guide deal registration, Stage 0/1 qualification, POCs, and joint win stories while mentoring SEs on Okta best practices and roadmap • Drive alliances co-sell execution with strategic partners on joint GTM plays, co-branded demos, and certifications • Travel up to 50% for partner events, customer engagements, and in-person onboarding including first-week HQ visit in San Francisco What We're Looking For: • 7+ years in presales solutions architecture or systems engineering with identity and access management (IAM) expertise • Deep hands-on experience architecting zero-trust solutions with Okta, Auth0, SSO, MFA, Identity Governance, and PAM • Proven track record collaborating with GSIs, AWS, Microsoft, and cloud partners on joint solutions and co-sell motions • Strong business acumen to translate technical challenges into scalable architectures for enterprise opportunities in APJ • Excellent presentation and whiteboarding skills for workshops, architecture reviews, and stakeholder influence What We Offer: • Competitive compensation with equity and benefits • Health, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO, parental leave, and professional development • Hybrid work options and inclusive, collaborative culture Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
