Join Okta, The World’s Identity Company, as an Associate Software Engineer in Test on our Infrastructure Quality team in Bellevue, Washington. You'll design and automate tests for critical deployment tools like ArgoCD, Terraform, and Ansible to ensure reliable, secure continuous deployment pipelines in cloud environments. This role is vital for maintaining high-quality infrastructure-as-code (IaC) and CD pipelines that power Okta's secure identity solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Develop, implement, and maintain test plans, cases, and strategies for deployment tools including ArgoCD, Terraform, Ansible, and custom scripts • Design and build scalable automated test frameworks using Java, Python, Go, or Bash for infrastructure and deployment workflows • Execute functional, integration, system, regression, performance, and security testing on IaC provisioning, configuration, and state management • Verify resilience, efficiency, and service level objectives of continuous deployment (CD) pipelines and related tooling • Collaborate with Deployment, DevOps, and Development teams to integrate quality assurance early in agile development lifecycles • Track testing progress, report defect metrics, identify bottlenecks, and participate in on-call rotations for production escalations What We're Looking For: • 2+ years professional experience in Quality Assurance or Software Testing with strong automation focus • 2+ years solid understanding of cloud computing (AWS or GCP) and Infrastructure-as-Code tools like Terraform or Ansible • 2+ years experience in SaaS environments with Docker, Kubernetes, and CD tools like Spinnaker or ArgoCD • 2+ years experience with Java or Python test automation development, including Selenium preferably with Java • B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field; ability to access federal environments as U.S. Person What We Offer: • Competitive compensation with equity and benefits • Health, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO, parental leave, and professional development • Hybrid work options and inclusive, collaborative culture Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
