Lead a high-performing team of Account Executives in Japan to drive new logo wins and expand revenue within existing customers using Okta's identity platform. As Director, Japan Sales, you'll shape consultative sales strategies for B2B SaaS in Tokyo, ensuring quarterly targets are met while building executive relationships. This role is pivotal for Okta's growth in the Japan market, placing identity at the core of secure business transformation. Key Responsibilities: • Manage day-to-day operations of the Account Executive team, including hiring, motivating, mentoring, and training to boost efficiency and productivity • Ensure achievement of quarterly revenue targets and monthly goals through rigorous forecasting and performance tracking • Maintain accurate, up-to-date Salesforce data for your team and deliver reliable forecast information to senior management • Quote, negotiate, and assist reps in closing complex transactions by developing executive-level relationships with key prospects • Actively engage in territory planning, opportunity development, and collaboration with pre-sales, services, legal, and renewals partners • Drive consultative sales processes focused on Okta Platform and Auth0 for secure access, authentication, and automation across industries What We're Looking For: • 10+ years of experience selling B2B SaaS solutions, with 5+ years in SaaS sales management • Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English for executive stakeholder engagement • Proven ISV and SI partner experience to leverage channel ecosystems in Japan • Previous experience selling to and working with developers in Dev/SecOps environments • Familiarity with digital transformation technology stacks, FORCE Management, MEDDPICCC, or related sales methodologies What We Offer: • Competitive compensation with equity and benefits • Health, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO, parental leave, and professional development • Hybrid work options and inclusive, collaborative culture Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
