As General Ledger Supervisor in Bengaluru, you'll oversee month-end close processes, SOX compliance, and audits for Okta's international entities while driving process efficiencies in a fast-paced global environment. Key Responsibilities: • Lead GL month-end close activities, including journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations for international entities • Perform detailed reviews of T&E expense, intercompany, prepaids, fixed assets, and accruals across multiple cost centers • Prepare and analyze balance sheet and P&L fluctuation reports, investigating variances in depth • Supervise, train, and develop the Manila accounting team for high performance • Identify process improvements and evaluate systems to enhance GL efficiency • Support SOX compliance, quarterly reviews, annual audits, and ad hoc projects with business partners What We're Looking For: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 8-12 years in public accounting (Big 4) and private industry at a public company, including 2+ years supervisory experience • Solid knowledge of US GAAP, IFRS, FRS, SEC regulations, and SOX/internal controls • Excellent management skills to supervise and develop remote accounting teams • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail • Proficient in Google Workspace and ability to quickly learn ERP systems like NetSuite What We Offer: • Competitive compensation with equity and benefits • Health, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO, parental leave, and professional development • Hybrid work options and inclusive, collaborative culture Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
