Lead Okta's Pricing Analytics as Group Manager, driving data science and analytics to optimize pricing strategies, discount guidance, and portfolio packaging for maximum revenue growth in our B2B SaaS identity platform. This role shapes cross-portfolio go-to-market decisions, pilots new pricing programs, and ensures seamless implementation across products and geographies. Your insights will fuel Okta's expansion, balancing customer value with monetization in a rapidly scaling environment. Key Responsibilities: • Lead company-wide automated discount guidance program, managing the guidance engine and adjusting based on trends and qualitative feedback • Define and launch go-to-market pricing and discounting strategies to scale Okta's revenue across products and markets • Partner with GTM and Product leadership to incorporate sales and customer centricity into portfolio packaging via discount guidance and target price expectations • Drive customer cross-sell and upsell opportunities through solution packaging that simplifies portfolios while maximizing value capture • Analyze waterfall levers to improve deal-level discounting and incentivize desired sales outcomes • Assess price realization for product families, identifying and executing optimization initiatives with pilots and field validation What We're Looking For: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Business or equivalent; MBA preferred, with 7+ years in data science, strategy consulting, pricing, or strategic finance at a B2B SaaS company • Expertise in analytics tools like Python, SQL, Snowflake data warehouses, and Tableau for advanced business analytics • Proven ability to apply data science to pricing strategies, synthesizing complex data into executive-ready insights and visualizations • Strong skill in linking data insights to business dynamics, explaining trends, and driving actionable strategies • Demonstrated leadership in navigating ambiguity, influencing executives, and executing high-impact projects quickly What We Offer: • Competitive compensation with equity and benefits • Health, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO, parental leave, and professional development • Hybrid work options and inclusive, collaborative culture Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
