As an International Tax Manager in Bengaluru, you'll lead transfer pricing compliance, international tax planning, and cross-border transaction modeling for Okta's global operations. This role drives strategic tax risk management and automation initiatives amid rapid business growth, ensuring compliance with US, OECD, and local regulations. Join our collaborative Global Tax Team to innovate and safeguard Okta's identity platform expansion worldwide. Key Responsibilities: • Manage complex international tax and transfer pricing projects, including compliance for CbCR, master/local files, intercompany agreements, and TP forms across Okta's foreign subsidiaries • Analyze and prepare US international tax deliverables for quarterly/year-end provisions, compliance, and planning, while reviewing financials and tax reporting disclosures • Support cross-border transactions, M&A integrations, restructurings, and new business models by developing tax methodologies, policies, and risk management strategies • Proactively identify automation opportunities using Alteryx, RPA, and AI (Gemini) to streamline tax workflows across Legal, Treasury, HR, Sales, and external advisors • Build relationships and communicate transfer pricing strategies effectively to stakeholders, senior management, and during tax audits for foreign subsidiaries • Draft technical memorandums, advise on day-to-day intercompany pricing decisions, and handle ad-hoc tax matters to support Okta's evolving global business What We're Looking For: • 5+ years of relevant experience in international tax and transfer pricing at a large accounting/consulting firm • Strong expertise in finance, valuation, economic concepts, and tax technology solutions like Alteryx, RPA, and AI • Proven international tax experience in reporting, compliance, planning, and technical knowledge of US, OECD, and local tax laws • Demonstrated project management skills in cross-functional teams for M&A, integrations, and restructurings • Excellent verbal/written communication, financial analysis, and ability to build relationships across organizations What We Offer: • Competitive compensation with equity and benefits • Health, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO, parental leave, and professional development • Hybrid work options and inclusive, collaborative culture Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
