We help organizations securely connect people to technology. The Regional Alliance Manager drives Okta's partner-first strategy in Japan, collaborating with distributors, systems integrators, resellers, hyperscalers, and technology alliance partners to accelerate partner-sourced revenue and pipeline growth. This role crafts compelling value propositions, builds annual business plans, and co-sells identity solutions like Okta Platform and Auth0 to expand secure access and authentication in the APJ region. By fostering strong partner relationships and cross-functional alignment, you'll play a pivotal role in positioning Okta as the world's leading identit Key Responsibilities: • Build annual business plans with partners, outlining investments, capability building, marketing, demand generation, and sales plays for Japan market growth • Collaborate with pre-sales, enablement, and success teams to develop partners' sales, presales, and post-sales capabilities for Okta deployments • Create pipeline and deal registrations through MDF funding and targeted sales plays with distributors and key partners • Plan and execute pipeline generation activities, including channel marketing events with systems integrators, resellers, and hyperscalers • Help partners develop a point-of-view on driving Okta sales, building trust to enable co-selling into their account base • Work with sales teams to define tailored value propositions, go-to-market plans, and ensure partner-led customer success with Okta authentication and automation What We're Looking For: • 5-8+ years of partner management experience at a Cybersecurity or SaaS company, implementing channel alliances strategies to drive sales revenue • Fluent Japanese and conversational+ English for effective partner and cross-functional communication in Japan • Proven track record driving partner-sourced demand generation and partner capability building in APJ • History of exceeding revenue targets through strategic alliances with distributors, resellers, and technology partners • Demonstrated success in matrix reporting environments, collaborating with Japanese sales and APJ partner teams What We Offer: • Competitive compensation with equity and benefits • Health, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO, parental leave, and professional development • Hybrid work options and inclusive, collaborative culture Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
