As a Sales Development Representative in Okta's Central region, you'll prospect high-quality opportunities for Account Executives by researching accounts, engaging leads, and conducting discovery calls in the cybersecurity and identity management space. This role is your launchpad into a high-impact sales career, where you'll drive pipeline growth for Fortune 500 customers like JetBlue and Zoom using tools like Salesforce and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Join us onsite in Chicago to build meaningful customer relationships and fuel digital innovation through secure identity solutions. Key Responsibilities: • Research target accounts and contacts to craft personalized outreach strategies using Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator • Collaborate with Marketing and Account Executives to plan and execute multi-channel prospecting campaigns • Engage inbound leads and conduct outbound outreach via calls, emails, and social selling to generate qualified meetings • Perform discovery conversations to uncover business challenges in identity management and authentication, positioning Account Executives for success • Achieve daily and weekly goals for calls, emails, meetings, and pipeline development while participating in team competitions • Maintain accurate, up-to-date records in Salesforce and partner cross-functionally to refine customer engagement processes What We're Looking For: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience, with 6–12 months of prior business or sales experience preferred • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to connect with prospects and stakeholders • Self-motivated and goal-oriented mindset with proven ability to take initiative and follow through • Comfortable thriving in a fast-paced, evolving sales environment while managing multiple priorities • Coachable attitude with openness to feedback and eagerness to learn sales best practices What We Offer: • Competitive compensation with equity and benefits • Health, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO, parental leave, and professional development • Hybrid work options and inclusive, collaborative culture Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
