As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) in Okta's East region, you'll prospect high-value accounts, generate qualified opportunities, and collaborate with Account Executives to drive cybersecurity and identity management pipeline growth. This role is your launchpad into a high-impact sales career at The World's Identity Company, where you'll uncover real business challenges for customers like JetBlue and Zoom. Thrive in a fast-paced environment while building foundational skills in Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator. Key Responsibilities: • Research target accounts and contacts to craft personalized outreach using Salesforce, Outreach, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator • Partner with Marketing and Account Executives to design and execute multi-channel prospecting campaigns • Qualify inbound leads and conduct outbound outreach to book high-quality discovery meetings • Lead discovery calls to uncover business needs in secure access, authentication, and identity solutions • Achieve daily quotas for calls, emails, meetings, and pipeline while maintaining accurate Salesforce data • Collaborate cross-functionally to refine customer engagement strategies and celebrate wins through team competitions What We're Looking For: • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with 6-12 months of prior business or sales experience preferred • Exceptional written and verbal communicator who builds rapport quickly • Self-motivated and goal-oriented with proven ability to manage priorities in fast-paced settings • Coachable mindset, embracing feedback to accelerate professional growth • Curious learner comfortable with sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach, and Sales Navigator What We Offer: • Competitive compensation with equity and benefits • Health, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO, parental leave, and professional development • Hybrid work options and inclusive, collaborative culture Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
