As a Senior Developer Advocate at Okta's Auth0 DevRel team, you'll empower developers with compelling technical content on identity management, authentication, and AI-driven tools across events, blogs, and digital channels. You'll shape developer experiences by advocating for their needs within Product and Engineering, driving adoption of the Auth0 Platform for secure CIAM solutions. This role is pivotal in influencing developer communities and accelerating Okta's growth as the world's identity company. Key Responsibilities: • Cultivate relationships with developers and technical leaders via online platforms, events, and conferences to champion Auth0 and boost platform awareness • Advocate for developer pain points within Auth0 product teams, collaborating with Product, Engineering, and Developer Content to enhance developer experience • Develop and deliver high-quality technical content including blog posts, tutorials, videos, code samples, and documentation on identity standards and AI tooling • Identify emerging trends in developer needs, especially AI and identity management, to inform product improvements and content strategies • Engage at in-person and remote events like industry conferences, panels, and meetups to inspire adoption of Auth0 for CIAM applications • Review early SDKs, documentation, and product capabilities, providing developer feedback to shape launches and best practices What We're Looking For: • 5+ years in developer advocacy, evangelism, or technical content creation with hands-on coding experience • Strong technical background in identity standards, authentication protocols like OAuth and OIDC, and CIAM platforms • Proven experience creating developer-focused content on AI tooling, vibe coding, and complex technical concepts • Exceptional public speaking skills with a track record of inspiring audiences at conferences, meetups, and panels • Demonstrated passion for developer communities, translating technical challenges into engaging, accessible resources What We Offer: • Competitive compensation with equity and benefits • Health, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO, parental leave, and professional development • Hybrid work options and inclusive, collaborative culture Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
