Lead Okta's Infrastructure Platform and Shared Services as Senior Manager of Site Reliability Engineering, overseeing teams in Edge networking, Kubernetes platform, CI/CD, observability, and automation tooling for our high-availability AWS-hosted identity service. Drive DevOps transformation, microservices adoption, and scalable self-service cloud infrastructure to support millions of daily authentications with 99.999% uptime. This role shapes reliable, cost-effective platforms that accelerate SRE and product engineering velocity in a multi-region SaaS environment. Key Responsibilities: • Lead the Infrastructure Platform and Shared Services organization, driving initiatives across SRE and Infrastructure teams for scalable AWS operations. • Spearhead DevOps transformation, microservices journey, and next-generation infrastructure platform capabilities in partnership with architects and product engineering. • Build a world-class observability platform with self-service monitoring using tools like Grafana and Splunk for large-scale environments. • Accelerate SRE and product engineering velocity through robust Kubernetes platforms, service mesh, CI/CD pipelines, IaC with Terraform, and intuitive self-service tooling. • Own design, operation, and mentoring of high-performing teams managing Edge infrastructure, containerization, and shared services domains. • Improve SDLC processes for cloud infrastructure as code, including CI/CD maturity, change management, and resource allocation within budget constraints. What We're Looking For: • 6+ years of technical leadership and people management experience in SRE or infrastructure roles. • 3+ years running large-scale infrastructure platforms for SaaS/Cloud services on AWS, with multi-cloud experience as a plus. • Extensive experience with Agile/DevOps methodologies, cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes containerization, Terraform IaC, and CI/CD pipelines. • Deep hands-on expertise in software development, PaaS, automation, and building observability platforms with Grafana, Splunk, and APM tools. • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage large-scale programs, and maintain industry best practices in high-throughput environments.
