As a Senior Revenue Accountant in Bengaluru, you'll ensure accurate revenue recognition under ASC 606 for complex SaaS transactions, partnering with cross-functional teams on new product launches and GTM programs. This role is pivotal in supporting month-end close, audits, and strategic process improvements in a fast-paced, publicly traded environment. Key Responsibilities: • Operationalize ASC 606 revenue recognition standards for multi-performance obligation contracts • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and implement revenue systems for new products and GTM programs • Conduct User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for revenue-related product and program launches • Execute revenue month-end close tasks including journal entries, reconciliations, and audit support • Review sales contracts for compliance with US GAAP revenue policies and standards • Research accounting guidance and document positions on complex revenue transactions What We're Looking For: • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting with 5+ years in public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and private industry at a public company • CPA or equivalent certification (highly preferred) • In-depth knowledge of US GAAP (ASC 606), SEC regulations, SOX, and internal controls • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication for cross-team collaboration What We Offer: • Competitive compensation with equity and benefits • Health, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO, parental leave, and professional development • Hybrid work options and inclusive, collaborative culture Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
