As Senior Sales Strategy & Operations Manager for Japan and Korea, you will design and optimize the Go-to-Market (GTM) engine to drive hyper-growth in these strategic APJ markets. Partnering with local sales leaders, APJ, and global teams, you'll own annual planning, operational cadence, and data-driven insights to unlock revenue opportunities and sales efficiency. This pivotal role positions you as the operational backbone for Okta's elite North Asia sales organization, leveraging deep Japan market expertise. Key Responsibilities: • Lead end-to-end annual GTM planning for Japan and South Korea, including capacity modeling, headcount planning, territory design, and quota allocation • Conduct data-driven analyses to identify revenue opportunities, market segment strategies, and efficiency gains tailored to Japan and Korea contexts • Develop executive presentations and insights for Quarterly Business Reviews, delivering strategic recommendations to Japan, Korea, and APJ leadership • Drive rigorous sales operating rhythm, including forecasting, pipeline reviews, and performance management across both countries • Optimize sales ecosystem by streamlining workflows, reporting, and Account Executive/Manager experiences as regional subject matter expert • Build analytical models and dashboards using Clari and Tableau to monitor KPIs, forecast accurately, and synchronize Sales with SDR/BDR, Partners, Marketing, Finance, and HR What We're Looking For: • 8+ years in sales strategy, operations, or GTM roles, with 5+ years focused on Japan market dynamics • Proven track record owning annual planning cycles, territory design, and quota setting in high-growth APJ sales organizations • Expertise in sales performance analytics using Clari, Tableau, or similar tools for forecasting and KPI dashboards • Strong operational leadership enforcing sales cadences like pipeline reviews and QBRs in complex, cross-functional environments • Deep understanding of Japan and Korea enterprise sales landscapes, with fluency in Japanese and English What We Offer: • Competitive compensation with equity and benefits • Health, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO, parental leave, and professional development • Hybrid work options and inclusive, collaborative culture Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
