Join Okta as a Senior Security Engineer, TDI, embedding directly with engineering and operations teams to fortify security across AWS cloud, endpoints, and SaaS apps like Salesforce, Google Workspace, and Slack. You'll lead hands-on vulnerability remediation using tools like Snyk, Semgrep, and Qualys while driving DevSecOps automation and secure baseline images for measurable risk reduction. This tactical role strengthens Okta's security posture, ensuring identity platforms are secure by design in a high-scale SaaS environment. Key Responsibilities: • Lead hands-on vulnerability remediation across Mac/Windows endpoints, AWS cloud workloads, and on-prem assets using Snyk, Semgrep, and Qualys. • Deploy, configure, and operationalize scanning tools to expand coverage for TDI assets, troubleshooting findings and mentoring developers/admins. • Embed with product teams to enforce ProdSec SDL, advise on secure coding, CI/CD pipelines, and implement secrets rotation automation. • Build and maintain secure baseline container/VM images for AWS, manage SRE update pipelines, and conduct light Security Architecture Reviews. • Develop automation for vulnerability scanning, reporting, patch validation, and integrate security into Salesforce, ERP, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom. • Drive Security Champions initiative, improve vulnerability metrics, partner with GRC on risk registers, and close gaps in CSPM and endpoint hardening. What We're Looking For: • 7+ years in Security Engineering, DevSecOps, or Infrastructure Security in SaaS/enterprise environments. • Hands-on expertise in vulnerability scanning, patching, and remediation across cloud, endpoints, and SaaS ecosystems like AWS and Salesforce. • Experience deploying and managing Snyk, Semgrep, and Qualys for comprehensive asset scanning and remediation. • Strong knowledge of AWS security practices, SRE principles, and securing business stacks including ERP, Google Workspace, Slack, and Zoom. • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex environments, mentor teams, and automate security workflows for continuous improvement.
