As a Software Engineer II on the Login team at Auth0, you'll drive small to medium projects from technical design to completion, enhancing authentication experiences for millions of users worldwide. Key Responsibilities: • Drive small to medium projects within the team, from technical design through to completion using NodeJS and React. • Collaborate with support as the last level of escalation for customer tickets to ensure awesome product experiences. • Participate in on-call rotations to troubleshoot and resolve production issues in AWS and Azure environments. • Write modular, well-tested, maintainable code leveraging proven design patterns and databases like Postgres or MongoDB. • Communicate project status, risks, and mitigations while driving team discussions on deliverables. • Mentor new engineers, contribute to onboarding, and demonstrate proficiency in the authentication product domain. What We're Looking For: • 2+ years of software development experience in backend languages like Typescript, Javascript, Go, Python, or Java. • Proficiency in React or similar front-end UI stack (Angular, Vue), with willingness to learn if needed. • Strong knowledge of HTTP fundamentals and API design skills for scalable authentication systems. • Experience with databases such as MongoDB, Redis, or PostgreSQL in distributed environments. • Hands-on work with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure, including caching and asynchronous processing patterns.
