As a Software Engineer II in Security Engineering at Auth0, you'll build and maintain robust security controls in our cloud environment while developing tooling to streamline secure practices for platform engineers. Key Responsibilities: • Build and maintain security controls in our multi-cloud environment including AWS, Azure, and GCP • Develop tooling and automation to make security practices frictionless for Okta platform engineers • Create design patterns, standards, and best practices for cloud security and infrastructure as code • Support engineering teams in building secure cloud infrastructure with Terraform and Kubernetes • Identify security posture gaps, prioritize remediation efforts, and enable developer best practices • Collaborate in a distributed Agile environment to accelerate secure development velocity What We're Looking For: • 2+ years of experience in Cloud Security Engineering with IAM focus • Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP services, security controls, and compliance • Proficiency with Terraform for writing and deploying infrastructure as code • Proficiency in at least one programming language like Go, Python, or Java • Experience securing containers, Kubernetes, and working in remote Agile teams What We Offer: • Competitive base salary $110,000-$160,000 CAD with equity, bonus, and benefits • Health, dental, vision insurance, RRSP matching, and healthcare spending accounts • Flexible PTO, parental leave, telemedicine, and professional development opportunities • Dynamic remote-first culture fostering social impact, talent growth, and community Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
