As a Solutions Engineer - Presales in Okta's Global Innovation Center in Bengaluru, you'll craft and demonstrate identity and security solutions for US commercial customers, from startups to scaling SMBs. You'll support the sales journey with live demos, POCs, and presentations showcasing Okta Workforce Identity Cloud. This role drives Okta's growth by placing identity at the core of customer security and business success. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver live demonstrations and sales presentations to IT managers, developers, product managers, and executives, highlighting Okta technology value • Model Okta Workforce Identity solutions against customer architecture, use cases, single sign-on, MFA, and passwordless authentication • Execute well-defined, outcome-focused proofs of concept (POCs) for identity and access management (IAM) scenarios • Maintain deep technical expertise in Okta product line, REST APIs, SDKs, and underlying IAM protocols • Communicate complex IAM solutions via whiteboarding, practical examples, and product demos • Participate in local and regional events as a presenter evangelizing Okta, while working US time zones What We're Looking For: • Minimum 5 years experience as pre-sales engineer in IAM or related SaaS field • Hands-on expertise in IAM, SSO, multi-factor authentication, passwordless, universal directory, privileged access, device access • Proven experience with REST APIs, SDKs, and integrating identity solutions • Strong customer-facing experience in consulting, support, or pre-sales roles • Excellent communication skills for complex ideas, whiteboarding, demos, with empathy and listening What We Offer: • Competitive compensation with equity and benefits • Health, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO, parental leave, and professional development • Hybrid work options and inclusive, collaborative culture Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
