Join Okta as a Solutions Engineer (Presales). Okta is the leading independent identity provider, trusted by over 18,500 organizations worldwide. We help organizations securely connect people to technology. As a Solutions Engineer (Presales) in Okta's Global Innovation Center in Bengaluru, you'll craft tailored identity and security solutions for US commercial customers, from startups to scaling SMBs, through compelling demos and POCs. You'll partner with sales to demonstrate Okta Workforce Identity Cloud's value in IAM, SSO, MFA, and passwordless authentication. This role drives Okta's global growth by evangelizing secure access management and fueling customer success in a high-impact, customer-facing position. Key Responsibilities: • Deliver live demonstrations and sales presentations showcasing Okta technology's value along the customer sales journey • Engage directly with IT managers, developers, product managers, and executives to sell Workforce Identity solutions across industries • Model Okta solutions against customer architecture requirements, use cases, single sign-on, MFA, and privileged access • Execute well-defined, outcome-focused Proofs of Concept (POCs) for identity and access management • Maintain deep technical expertise in Okta product line, REST APIs, SDKs, and underlying IAM protocols • Participate in local and regional events as a presenter to evangelize Okta identity solutions and work in US time zones What We're Looking For: • Minimum 5 years experience as a pre-sales engineer in IAM or related SaaS field • Hands-on expertise in IAM, SSO, MFA, passwordless authentication, universal directory, and device access • Proven experience working with REST APIs and SDKs for integration and automation • Strong ability to communicate complex solutions via white-boarding, examples, and product demos • Customer-facing experience in consulting, support, or pre-sales with empathy and listening skills What We Offer: • Competitive compensation with equity and benefits • Health, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO, parental leave, and professional development • Hybrid work options and inclusive, collaborative culture Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
