As a Staff Developer Advocate at Okta's Auth0 team, you'll lead developer advocacy by creating compelling technical content on AI, authentication, and identity management, while engaging communities at conferences and online. You'll shape strategies that drive developer adoption of Auth0's CIAM platform, influencing product roadmaps and elevating the developer experience. This role is pivotal in making Okta the go-to identity solution for millions of daily logins worldwide. Key Responsibilities: • Define and execute developer advocacy strategies, selecting key channels, events, and partners to boost engagement and Auth0 adoption • Engage developer communities through online platforms, in-person conferences, panels, and meetups to champion needs and showcase platform capabilities • Advocate for developer pain points within Product and Engineering teams, reviewing SDKs, documentation, and features to enhance developer experience • Create high-quality technical content including blog posts, tutorials, videos, code samples, and documentation on AI, authentication, and CIAM trends • Monitor emerging technologies and industry trends, developing educational strategies and thought leadership to address developer challenges proactively • Collaborate with Developer Content, Marketing, and Engineering to launch capabilities and bring developer feedback into product improvements What We're Looking For: • 8+ years in developer advocacy, evangelism, or technical content creation with proven public speaking at major conferences • Deep technical expertise in identity management, authentication, CIAM, and AI applications for developers • Strong track record of producing engaging content like blogs, tutorials, and videos that drive community influence and adoption • Experience shaping product roadmaps by representing developer needs in cross-functional teams at fast-growing tech companies • Exceptional communication skills to translate complex concepts into clear, developer-friendly materials and strategies What We Offer: • Competitive compensation with equity and benefits • Health, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO, parental leave, and professional development • Hybrid work options and inclusive, collaborative culture Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
