As a Staff Full Stack Software Engineer on the Auth0 team at Okta, you'll design and build secure, scalable features using ReactJS, NodeJS, TypeScript, and Postgres to enhance developer experience in customer identity and access management (CIAM). Your work will drive engineering excellence, mentor teammates, and deliver seamless authentication for millions of daily logins worldwide. Key Responsibilities: • Provide technical direction by identifying improvement opportunities and leading design/implementation of NodeJS and ReactJS features • Design, develop, and maintain secure APIs, features, and fixes to handle high-scale Auth0 traffic on AWS and Azure • Mentor and coach engineers to foster growth, knowledge sharing, and team maturity in Full Stack development • Collaborate with product managers, designers, and support teams as last-level escalation for customer issues • Participate in agile processes, optimizing team delivery for Account Governance, Team Management, and Team Security • Contribute to cross-functional initiatives impacting CIAM developer experience beyond the team subdomain What We're Looking For: • 7+ years of Full Stack software development expertise with NodeJS, JavaScript, and TypeScript ecosystem • 3+ years of hands-on experience building UIs with ReactJS and JavaScript frameworks • 5+ years working with Postgres, Redis, and MongoDB for scalable data persistence • Proven expertise in designing secure, performant public/internal APIs with testing best practices • Strong communication skills, bias for reliable systems, and ability to context-switch across projects What We Offer: • Competitive compensation with equity and benefits • Health, dental, vision insurance and 401(k) matching • Flexible PTO, parental leave, and professional development • Hybrid work options and inclusive, collaborative culture Okta is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
