Join Okta's global AI Engineering team as a Staff Software Engineer, Full Stack (AI), designing and building intelligent user-facing AI experiences and end-to-end solutions for secure enterprise-grade AI agents. You'll lead technical direction for high-performance Agentic Experiences (AX) on web and mobile, powering LLM orchestration, RAG pipelines, and generative AI features. This senior individual contributor role shapes the future of identity-secure AI at scale, mentoring teams across US and India. Key Responsibilities: • Design, build, and refine front-end interfaces using React or similar frameworks to bring AI capabilities to life for employees and customers. • Build high-performance Agentic Experiences (AX) for web and mobile, optimized for streaming responses and low latency. • Champion observability and operational excellence to ensure AI services meet enterprise-grade reliability and performance standards. • Develop robust backend services powering AI solutions, including LLM orchestration, RAG pipelines, and generative AI features with Python or Node.js. • Enable delivery of key AI projects through technical leadership, hands-on execution, and mentoring engineers on full-stack craftsmanship. • Collaborate with India-based peers, Security, Data, and Infrastructure teams for globally aligned, secure, and scalable AI architectures. What We're Looking For: • 7+ years in software engineering with 5+ years deep expertise in front-end development using modern frameworks like React, Vue, or Angular. • 4+ years with backend systems design and development, Python preferred, plus Java, Node.js, or Go. • Proven experience integrating LLMs and MCPs into production-ready, user-facing applications with agentic frameworks like LangChain, LangGraph, or LangSmith. • Strong background in distributed systems, microservices, resilient APIs (REST/GraphQL), and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure). • Demonstrated ability to influence technical strategy, lead architecture decisions across global teams, and work effectively across time zones and cultures.
