As a Staff Software Engineer on the Provisioning team at Auth0, you'll architect and lead the development of scalable user lifecycle management features like SCIM and Google Workspace Directory Sync for enterprise B2B customers. Your work enables seamless automation of user creation, updates, and deactivation at massive scale, powering secure identity solutions in NodeJS, Golang, and TypeScript. This role is pivotal in expanding Auth0's CIAM platform, driving business growth and reliability for SaaS applications. Key Responsibilities: • Drive architectural vision and strategy to design powerful enterprise provisioning functionality for B2B customers. • Orchestrate and lead major technical projects across teams, ensuring successful delivery of distributed systems. • Design, architect, and document large-scale, highly available services using NodeJS, Golang, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB. • Serve as subject matter expert on scalable, reliable distributed systems and mentor junior engineers on best practices. • Collaborate with Product, Security, and engineering teams to improve platform architecture and APIs. • Participate in on-call rotations to maintain high availability for customer-facing provisioning services. What We're Looking For: • 8+ years of experience building large-scale distributed systems or services. • Proven architectural and security expertise in designing and evolving complex backend systems. • Strong experience with Node.js (JavaScript/TypeScript) or Golang for scalable APIs and services. • Full-stack development skills including React, with deep knowledge of PostgreSQL and MongoDB optimization. • Hands-on experience with Docker containerization, AWS, Azure, and cross-team collaboration projects.
