The Technical Account Manager (TAM) at Okta specializes in enterprise identity solutions like Workforce Identity Cloud (WIC) and Okta CIAM, providing strategic technical guidance to maximize customer value from our identity and access management (IAM) platforms. This role bridges technical expertise with customer success, driving adoption, satisfaction, and retention for mid-market and enterprise accounts. Join us to shape secure identity strategies that empower businesses worldwide. Key Responsibilities: • Advise customers on IAM best practices and product adoption in post-sales engagements to optimize Okta configurations. • Partner with Customer Success Managers to oversee a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise accounts, focusing on Workforce Identity Cloud and CIAM. • Analyze customer goals and use cases, recommending features like identity federation and SaaS integrations to meet security and ROI needs. • Review architectures and Okta setups to strengthen security posture, increase subscription utilization, and capture business value. • Respond to technical escalations from Customer Success Managers and build relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders. • Contribute to internal and external content creation for IAM enablement, training, and customer education. What We're Looking For: • 5+ years in information technology, including 3+ years as Technical Account Manager or similar in IAM. • Ability to work US time zones with up to 20% travel; remote possible from Bengaluru, India. • Proficiency in core IAM areas like identity federation, hybrid IT legacy apps, and SaaS deployments. • Strong background in Technical Account Management, Solution Architecture, or Solutions Engineering. • Excellent communication skills and business acumen for managing enterprise relationships and escalations.
