The Data Scientist, Product role at OpenAI sits at the intersection of data science, product management, and AI research. Expect to define north-star metrics, design sophisticated A/B tests, and create source-of-truth dashboards that empower the entire company.
As a core member of the product development team, you'll embed directly with PMs, engineers, and designers to uncover growth opportunities. Our products—like ChatGPT that revolutionized conversational AI, the API enabling developers worldwide, and Sora pushing generative video boundaries—demand rigorous data analysis to ensure they're safe, beneficial, and impactful. This senior-level position requires navigating ambiguity in a hyper-growth environment, turning complex AI data into actionable insights.
