Position Summary

The Operations Supervisor (Maintenance) role at our Bowling Green, Ohio facility is a pivotal leadership position overseeing a team of skilled technicians. You'll champion safe operations, ensure pipeline reliability, and drive maintenance excellence for critical energy infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Operations Manager to prioritize safety, operations, and maintenance objectives while fostering a culture of accountability.
  • Coordinate comprehensive training programs, ensuring all team members can identify hazards and execute duties safely and efficiently.
  • Verify that all work adheres strictly to company policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, minimizing risks and maximizing reliability.
  • Maintain a secure, motivating work environment by holding employees accountable, supervising sites regularly, and delivering immediate feedback on safety practices.
  • Support financial planning through budgeting, forecasting, routine cost analysis, and strategic scheduling focused on economic operations.
  • Communicate outage plans proactively with business partners to reduce customer impacts and protect profitability.
  • Cultivate collaboration by sharing information freely and building high-performing teams through workforce planning and career development.
  • Delegate tasks effectively, manage positive relationships with internal/external stakeholders, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead process enhancements, develop vital documentation, and act as a subject matter expert for organizational initiatives.
  • Handle other duties as assigned, adapting to the fast-paced needs of energy operations.

Required Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet these essential criteria:

  • Education: High School diploma or GED required; Associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or senior lead role, plus 8 years of industry-specific operations experience in energy or pipeline maintenance.
  • Technical Skills: Broad knowledge of pipeline operations, engineering practices, and regulatory compliance. Proficiency in Microsoft Office; preferred experience with P&IDs, data historians, SCADA, and analyzer tools.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in extreme temperatures, loud noises, and confined spaces; lift 50+ lbs; stand/walk/climb for extended periods; use hand tools and work at heights with PPE.
  • Other: Valid State Driver’s License with clean record; strong project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills with safety as the top priority.
