The Operations Supervisor (Power Production) role at our Bowling Green, Ohio facility is pivotal in ensuring seamless power generation and pipeline operations for high-stakes data center initiatives. As a hands-on leader, you'll oversee a skilled team of technicians, championing safety as the top priority while driving operational excellence. Serve as a visible role model for safe operations, training team members to identify hazards and execute duties flawlessly. Maintain a secure, motivating workplace by holding everyone accountable, conducting regular site audits, and delivering immediate feedback on critical procedures.
Work closely with the Operations Manager to prioritize safety, maintenance, and production goals. Delegate tasks, coordinate workforce planning, and ensure all work aligns with company policies, regulatory standards, and engineering best practices.
Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and cost analysis to optimize economic operations. Communicate outage plans to partners, minimizing customer disruptions and protecting profitability. Analyze processes for improvements and develop vital documentation as a subject matter expert.
Foster collaboration by sharing information freely and building effective teams. Nurture positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to spot opportunities. Arrange career development for your team, promoting long-term success.
High School diploma or GED required, with a minimum of eight (8) years in industry-specific operations and three (3) years in a supervisory or senior lead role. An Associate's degree is preferred for enhanced technical insight.
Valid State Driver’s License with a clean record is essential. Demonstrate strong project management, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with safety as your utmost priority. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PC skills is required; broad knowledge of pipeline operations, engineering practices, and regulatory compliance is critical. Preferred expertise includes troubleshooting with P&ID’s, data historians, SCADA, and analyzer tools.
This role requires working in extreme temperatures, loud noises, and enclosed spaces. Be prepared to lift up to 50 lbs individually or team-lift heavier loads, stand/walk/climb/bend for extended periods, work at heights using PPE, ladders, or lifts, and use hand tools regularly.
