Position Summary

Williams is hiring Operations Technician I, II, or III - LNG in Stokesdale, North Carolina, to support our cutting-edge liquefied natural gas (LNG) facility. This role involves hands-on maintenance of cryogenic liquefaction and vaporization systems, ensuring operational safety, regulatory compliance, and peak equipment performance. Depending on your experience level (I: entry-level, II: intermediate, III: advanced/lead), you'll perform critical tasks, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with teams to drive efficiency. Key Responsibilities

• Perform diverse tasks to safely maintain LNG facility equipment, including testing, calibrating, and validating process safety devices.
• Conduct data analysis and collaborate with teams to resolve technical and operational challenges.
• Adhere to company policies, operating procedures, and maintenance protocols for optimal performance.
• Install and maintain electrical equipment such as switchgear, instrumentation, motor controls, control loops, distributive control systems, Allen Bradley PLCs, AC/DC systems.
• Troubleshoot, operate, repair, and maintain mechanical/electrical systems, including low/high voltage equipment, UPS systems, and sensing elements for flow, temperature, pressure, and level.
• Acquire and apply knowledge of site permits, compliance, and safe operations to protect personnel, environment, assets, and community.
• Other duties as assigned, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and technological aptitude.

Physical & Environmental Demands

This role requires working in extreme temperatures, loud noises, and enclosed spaces. Candidates must carry/lift 50+ lbs, stand/walk/climb/bend for extended periods, work at heights using PPE, man lifts, ladders, or scaffolding, and pass a pre-employment physical.

Required Qualifications

Operations Technician III - LNG

• High school diploma/GED + 2+ years natural gas industry experience (or equivalent).
• Preferred: Associate's/2-year technical degree + technical licenses/certificates.

Operations Technician II - LNG

• High school diploma/GED + 1 year related experience.
• Preferred: Associate's/2-year technical degree.

Operations Technician I - LNG

• High school diploma/GED required.
• Preferred: Associate's degree + 6 months mechanical/technical/controls experience or oil/gas internship.

Other Requirements

• Valid State Driver’s License with clean record.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and safety-focused skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PC skills, Process Control Systems, and PLCs.
• Aptitude for technology to enhance operational efficiency.
