Key Responsibilities

  • Safely maintain equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading and interpreting drawings, inspecting and supervising equipment, and upholding operational, technical, and governmental standards.
  • Analyze data and collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical or operational problems efficiently.
  • Follow all company policies, applying appropriate operating and maintenance procedures to ensure seamless performance.
  • Acquire and adhere to knowledge of safe facility operations, task execution, and protection of the community, personnel, environment, and assets.
  • Maintain general knowledge of site equipment, locations, and permitting requirements for compliance.
  • Complete assigned reports and logs, maintaining accurate records of process operations and performing preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability in a dynamic energy operations setting.

Required Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED required, with a minimum of two (2) years of related experience and at least one (1) year as a technician in the oil and gas industry.
  • Preferred: Associates degree or two-year technical degree in a relevant field.

Skills and Abilities

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, PC skills, Process Control Systems, and Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs).
  • Demonstrated aptitude for embracing technology to drive operational efficiency and streamline processes.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, with safety as the utmost priority.

Physical and Work Requirements

This role demands physical capability and flexibility:

  • Work in extreme temperatures, loud noises, and enclosed spaces.
  • Carry/lift up to 50 lbs individually and team lift heavier loads.
  • Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat for extended periods.
  • Work at elevated heights using man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, or towers with proper PPE.
  • Use hand tools regularly.

Shift and Travel

  • Available for after-hours, on-call, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime (10-12 hour shifts), and occasional travel with overnight stays.

  • Valid State Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
