Position Summary

The Operations Technician II role at Williams in Neshanic Station, New Jersey, offers a dynamic opportunity for skilled technicians in the oil and gas industry. This mid-level position involves hands-on support for pipeline operations, equipment maintenance, and data analysis to resolve technical issues. Key Responsibilities

  • Safely maintain facility equipment and support pipeline operations, including reading/interpreting drawings, inspecting equipment, and ensuring compliance with technical standards and governmental requirements.
  • Analyze operational data and collaborate with team members to identify and resolve technical or operational problems efficiently.
  • Follow all company policies, apply appropriate operating and maintenance procedures, and prioritize safety in all tasks.
  • Maintain knowledge of site equipment, permitting, and regulations to protect personnel, community, environment, and assets.
  • Complete assigned reports, logs, and accurate records of process operations; perform preventative maintenance on equipment.
  • Work with hand tools, Process Control Systems, and Programmable Logic Controllers to drive operational efficiency.
  • Be available for after-hours, on-call rotations, nights, weekends, holidays, overtime (10-12 hour shifts), and occasional travel.

Required Qualifications

  • Education/Experience: High School Diploma/GED required; minimum 2 years related experience and 1 year as a technician in oil/gas industry. Preferred: Associate's or two-year technical degree.
  • Physical Demands: Work in extreme temperatures, loud noises, enclosed spaces; lift/carry 50 lbs individually or team lift heavier loads; stand/walk/climb/bend/stoop/squat for long periods; work at heights using PPE, man lifts, ladders, scaffolding.
