Overview

The Account Cloud Engineering (ACE) Intern supports the Sales team as a "shadow" ACE, delivering tailored Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) solutions to drive business growth in Johannesburg. This 12-month program focuses on understanding customer needs, proposing innovative solutions, and enhancing Oracle’s regional presence. Interns act as trusted advisors to win new customers and expand relationships with existing clients.

Responsibilities

• Shadow experienced ACEs to learn OCI solution design and delivery processes.
• Analyze customer requirements and propose customized OCI technology solutions.
• Assist in building and demonstrating proof-of-concept (PoC) solutions for prospects.
• Support sales teams with technical expertise during customer engagements and presentations.
• Contribute to Cloud Engineering activities that foster line-of-business growth.
• Enhance brand visibility through successful solution deployments and case studies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless solution execution.
• Track and report on solution outcomes to support continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related degree program.
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to learn complex technologies quickly.
• Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and sales teams.
• Experience with scripting/programming (Python, Java, etc.) and basic DevOps tools.
• Availability for 12-month full-time internship in Johannesburg, South Africa.
