Position Overview

As an Account Executive in Vienna, Austria, you will drive Oracle's cloud and software sales within the Austrian market, focusing on building strategic relationships with key enterprise clients.

You will manage the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract negotiation and closing, while delivering tailored solutions that address customer business challenges.

This role offers the opportunity to work with Austria's top organizations, leveraging Oracle's comprehensive portfolio to achieve ambitious revenue targets.

We seek a motivated sales professional passionate about technology and customer success to contribute to Oracle's growth in the region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospect and generate new business opportunities within assigned accounts and territory in Austria
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers
  • Conduct needs assessments and present customized Oracle cloud and software solutions
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, including qualification, demonstration, negotiation, and closing deals
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve quarterly and annual revenue targets
  • Collaborate with pre-sales engineers and solution architects to deliver compelling proposals
  • Track sales activities using CRM tools like Salesforce and provide accurate forecasting
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to expand Oracle's presence
  • Analyze customer feedback and market trends to identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities
  • Ensure customer satisfaction post-sale by coordinating implementation and support handoffs

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, IT, or a related field
  • 5+ years of proven experience in enterprise software or cloud sales
  • Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing, SaaS, PaaS, or IaaS solutions
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in German and English
  • Proficiency in CRM systems such as Salesforce or similar tools
  • Ability to travel within Austria as needed for client meetings
  • EU work authorization and eligibility to work in Austria

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience selling to enterprise clients in the Austrian market
  • Familiarity with Oracle products or competitive enterprise software portfolios
  • Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant sales certifications
  • Knowledge of Austrian data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR)
  • Previous success in selling cloud infrastructure or database solutions
