Overview
As an AI/ML Infrastructure Engineer at Oracle in Nashville, TN, you will design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure for AI and machine learning initiatives. Collaborating with data scientists, software engineers, and IT teams, you will ensure efficient, secure, and cost-effective deployment of AI/ML models at scale. Your expertise will drive performance, reliability, and innovation in Oracle's cloud-based AI platforms.
Responsibilities
- Design and deploy scalable infrastructure for AI/ML workloads using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
- Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for model training, validation, and deployment.
- Implement containerization and orchestration solutions with Kubernetes and Docker on OCI.
- Monitor and optimize resource utilization for cost-efficiency and high performance.
- Ensure security and compliance in AI/ML environments, including data encryption and access controls.
- Collaborate with data scientists to integrate models into production systems seamlessly.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, OCI CLI, and Ansible.
- Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure issues to maintain 99.9%+ uptime for AI services.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, preferably with Oracle Cloud or AWS/GCP.
- Strong proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, OCI Resource Manager).
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch) and MLOps practices.
- Deep knowledge of Linux/Unix systems, networking, and high-availability architectures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced, collaborative environments.
