Overview

The AI Application Engineer will work within the OAL engineering organization, implementing and operating high-performance, cloud-native application services on Kubernetes to power advanced AI agents, RAG pipelines, large-scale distributed data workloads, and intelligent automation capabilities. In this role, you will engineer low-latency microservices integrating LLMs, agentic orchestration frameworks, and AI runtime components. You will rapidly prototype and harden production-grade capabilities to enable innovative AI-driven solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop low-latency microservices integrating LLMs and AI runtime components.
• Implement and operate cloud-native services on Kubernetes for AI agents and RAG pipelines.
• Build agentic orchestration frameworks for intelligent automation.
• Prototype rapid AI-driven solutions and harden them for production deployment.
• Optimize large-scale distributed data workloads on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to deliver high-performance AI applications.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and scale AI services in production environments.
• Stay current with AI technologies and contribute to innovative solution development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development with cloud-native applications.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes, Docker, and microservices architecture.
• Strong experience with LLMs, AI frameworks, and agentic orchestration.
• Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure or similar cloud platforms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.
