Position Overview

As the Applications Alliances Manager/Director in the United Kingdom, you will lead strategic alliances with key partners in the Oracle Applications ecosystem, driving joint go-to-market initiatives and revenue growth. This customer-focused role involves building trusted relationships with Apps partners who specialize in building, selling, and delivering value-added services for Oracle Applications Technology. You will play a pivotal role in Oracle's Alliances and Channels strategy, leveraging innovative technologies to deliver exceptional customer outcomes and expand market presence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute alliance strategies with key Applications partners to drive mutual revenue growth and customer success
  • Build and nurture executive-level relationships with partner leadership to align on joint business plans and co-selling opportunities
  • Identify, recruit, and onboard new strategic partners within the Oracle Applications ecosystem
  • Collaborate with internal sales, marketing, and product teams to create and launch joint go-to-market campaigns
  • Negotiate and manage alliance agreements, joint business plans, and performance metrics
  • Track partner performance, provide enablement support, and drive accountability for revenue targets
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver partner enablement programs, certifications, and technical integrations
  • Analyze market trends and competitive landscapes to recommend alliance opportunities and innovations
  • Represent Oracle at industry events, partner conferences, and customer forums to promote alliance successes
  • Prepare executive reports and presentations on alliance performance and strategic recommendations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 8+ years of experience in alliances, partnerships, or channel management within the technology sector
  • Proven track record of driving partner revenue growth and managing strategic alliances
  • Strong understanding of Oracle Applications Technology (e.g., Fusion Cloud ERP, HCM, SCM)
  • Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and influencing skills at executive levels
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across sales, marketing, and product organizations
  • Experience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce) and alliance management platforms
  • Ability to travel up to 30% within the UK and Europe

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MBA) or relevant certifications in cloud technologies
  • Direct experience working with Oracle partners or in the enterprise applications space
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and autonomous databases
  • Prior leadership experience managing alliance teams or programs
  • Fluency in additional European languages is a plus
