Position Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Applications Developer 3 with 6–10+ years of experience in Java development to join our world-class team in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala. In this role, you will design, develop, and deploy scalable cloud-based enterprise applications infused with innovative AI-led features. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions that drive Oracle's cloud strategy forward. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, high-performance Java applications for Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Implement AI/ML-driven features, including integration with Oracle AI services and machine learning models.
• Collaborate with product managers, architects, and QA teams to define technical requirements and deliver robust solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following Oracle's best practices and coding standards.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability in cloud-native environments.
• Conduct code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure production-ready deliverables.
• Integrate applications with Oracle databases, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge-sharing within the team.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and propose innovative improvements to application architecture.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6–10+ years of professional experience in Java development, including Java 8+ and Spring Framework.
• Strong proficiency in building cloud-native applications using microservices, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases (e.g., Oracle Database, PostgreSQL) and SQL optimization.
• Demonstrated ability to develop RESTful APIs and integrate with enterprise systems.
• Experience with version control systems like Git and CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Proven track record of delivering scalable applications in agile environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or in teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services, including Functions, Autonomous Database, and AI services.
• Familiarity with AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Oracle's AI tools.
• Knowledge of frontend technologies like React, Angular, or JavaScript for full-stack development.
• Certifications such as Oracle Java SE Programmer, OCI Architect, or AWS/GCP equivalents.
• Prior experience in enterprise software development for finance, healthcare, or retail sectors.
