Overview

As an Applications Sales Intern, you will support the Apps Sales Team in driving demand generation, business development, and sales support activities. This 12-month program in Johannesburg, South Africa, plays a key role in expanding Oracle's regional presence, contributing to business growth, and enhancing brand visibility. Gain hands-on experience in a dynamic sales environment while developing essential skills for a career in tech sales.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in lead generation and qualification through research and outreach.
  • Support sales team in preparing proposals, presentations, and demos.
  • Conduct market research to identify potential customers and opportunities.
  • Participate in customer meetings, calls, and events to build relationships.
  • Track sales pipeline and update CRM systems with accurate data.
  • Collaborate on demand generation campaigns and marketing initiatives.
  • Analyze competitor activities and provide insights to the sales team.
  • Contribute to administrative tasks to ensure smooth sales operations.

Qualifications

  • Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program (Business, Marketing, IT preferred).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Interest in sales, technology, or SaaS solutions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Right to work in South Africa for 12 months.
