Responsibilities

• Define and drive the technical vision for OCI’s next-generation Cloud OS platform.
• Partner with senior leadership to align strategy with business and customer needs.
• Lead hands-on prototyping of scalable, reliable, and secure cloud systems.
• Design architecture for unprecedented scale, impacting developers, operators, and customers globally.
• Set technical direction for autonomous cloud infrastructure innovations.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to deliver industry-first cloud capabilities.
• Mentor engineers and influence engineering best practices.
• Evaluate emerging technologies to shape platform roadmap.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in cloud infrastructure, distributed systems, or OS development.
• Proven track record as principal architect on large-scale cloud projects.
• Deep expertise in cloud-native architectures, Kubernetes, and virtualization.
• Strong experience with high-availability, fault-tolerant system design.
• Hands-on proficiency in C/C++, Go, Rust, or similar systems languages.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
