Key Responsibilities

• Architect end-to-end data and AI engine platforms, ensuring scalability, reliability, and integration with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
• Design advanced AI/ML pipelines for real-time data processing, model training, and inference at enterprise scale.
• Lead the definition of technical roadmaps for data ingestion, storage, transformation, and analytics engines.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into robust architectural designs.
• Optimize data architectures for performance, cost-efficiency, and compliance with global data privacy standards like GDPR and CCPA.
• Prototype and validate innovative AI solutions using Oracle's GenAI services, vector databases, and autonomous data management tools.
• Mentor senior engineers on best practices for distributed systems, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Conduct architectural reviews, risk assessments, and proof-of-concepts for emerging technologies like multimodal AI and federated learning.
• Drive cross-team initiatives to integrate data and AI engines with Oracle Fusion Applications and industry-specific solutions.
• Contribute to open-source projects and represent Oracle at industry conferences on data and AI architecture trends.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years focused on data platforms and AI/ML systems.
• Deep expertise in designing scalable data architectures using technologies like Apache Kafka, Spark, Hadoop, or Oracle Big Data services.
• Proven track record of building and deploying AI/ML models in production environments with tools like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Oracle AI services.
• Strong knowledge of cloud-native architectures, containerization (Kubernetes/Docker), and microservices on platforms like OCI, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases, vector search (e.g., Oracle Vector Database), and data lakes/warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to lead complex, distributed system designs under tight deadlines.
• Strong communication skills to articulate technical visions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Oracle Autonomous Database, or Oracle Generative AI services.
• Advanced degree (PhD) in AI, Machine Learning, or Data Science, with publications in relevant conferences.
• Hands-on expertise in real-time analytics, graph databases, or knowledge graphs for AI applications.
• Contributions to open-source data/AI projects or patents in system architecture.
• Prior experience architecting solutions for Fortune 500 enterprises in regulated industries like finance or healthcare.
