Overview

Architect, OCI Compute designs, develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs for databases, applications, tools, and networks within Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. Responsibilities

• Design scalable architectures for OCI Compute services and infrastructure.
• Develop and optimize software for virtual machines, bare metal instances, and container orchestration.
• Troubleshoot complex performance issues in distributed cloud environments.
• Debug and resolve bugs across databases, applications, and networking stacks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to define and implement compute roadmaps.
• Conduct performance tuning and capacity planning for cloud workloads.
• Integrate security best practices into compute platform designs.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in software architecture, cloud computing, or systems engineering.
• Expertise in OCI, AWS, or Azure compute services.
• Strong proficiency in C++, Java, Python, or Go for systems programming.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems, networking, and virtualization.
• Proven track record of designing high-availability, scalable systems.
