Oracle is seeking a Cloud Architect in Medellín to design and implement scalable cloud solutions on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). You will lead cloud migrations, optimize architectures for performance, and drive digital transformation for clients in Colombia. Responsibilities

• Design and architect OCI-based cloud solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Lead cloud migration strategies from on-premises to Oracle Cloud environments.
• Implement security, compliance, and governance frameworks for cloud deployments.
• Optimize cloud resources for cost-efficiency, scalability, and high availability.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate microservices and containerized applications.
• Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) and performance tuning for Oracle databases and services.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior architects and engineers.
• Stay updated on Oracle Cloud innovations and contribute to best practices documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in cloud architecture, preferably with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
• OCI Architect Professional certification or equivalent (e.g., AWS/GCP).
• Expertise in Oracle Database, Kubernetes, and Terraform for IaC.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, and DevOps practices in cloud environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and fluency in Spanish/English.
