Position Overview

As a Banking Project Manager - Treasury Implementation, you will lead the successful delivery of Oracle's treasury management solutions for banking clients in India, ensuring seamless integration and implementation of treasury systems. This role involves managing end-to-end project lifecycles, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and driving client satisfaction in a fast-paced financial services environment. You will play a pivotal role in helping banks optimize their treasury operations using Oracle's advanced cloud-based platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end implementation projects for Oracle Treasury Management solutions in banking environments, from requirements gathering to go-live and post-implementation support.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure on-time and within-scope delivery of treasury system implementations.
  • Collaborate with banking clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to define project scope, objectives, and success criteria for treasury modules.
  • Conduct gap analysis between client treasury processes and Oracle solutions, recommending customizations and configurations.
  • Facilitate workshops, training sessions, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for treasury system deployments.
  • Monitor project risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Drive change management activities, including process reengineering and adoption strategies for treasury operations.
  • Prepare and present project status reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to clients and Oracle leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with banking regulations, data security standards, and Oracle best practices during implementations.
  • Build strong client relationships to identify upsell opportunities for additional Oracle financial services modules.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in project management within banking or financial services, with at least 4 years focused on treasury management implementations.
  • Proven track record managing complex IT projects using methodologies like Agile, Waterfall, or PMI standards.
  • Strong understanding of banking treasury operations, including cash management, liquidity forecasting, payments, and risk management.
  • Experience with ERP or financial software implementations (Oracle Financials, SAP Treasury, or similar).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience in client-facing roles.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or Oracle Primavera.
  • Ability to travel as needed for client meetings and implementations across India.

Preferred Qualifications

  • PMP, Prince2, or equivalent project management certification.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud Treasury or Oracle EBS Financials.
  • Knowledge of Indian banking regulations (RBI guidelines) and IFRS/Ind-AS standards for treasury.
  • Experience integrating treasury systems with core banking solutions or SWIFT networks.
  • Master's degree in Finance or IT with a focus on financial technologies (FinTech).
