Overview

Oracle Government Defense & Intelligence seeks an experienced Business Development Director to expand and deepen Oracle’s presence in the federal civilian market. The role focuses on key DHS agencies including CBP, I&A, FEMA, TSA, CISA, USCIS, and ICE. Drive strategic growth and partnerships in Reston, VA.

Responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within targeted DHS agencies.
• Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.
• Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Collaborate with sales, product, and technical teams to craft compelling solutions.
• Lead proposal development and responses to RFPs and RFIs.
• Conduct market analysis to identify trends and competitive landscapes.
• Negotiate contracts and partnerships to secure multi-year engagements.
• Track pipeline progress and report on business development metrics.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of business development experience in federal government sales.
• Proven track record selling to DHS agencies such as CBP, TSA, or CISA.
• Deep understanding of federal acquisition processes and compliance.
• Strong network within federal civilian and intelligence communities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
