Position Overview

As a Buyer specializing in Real Estate and Facilities Procurement for the EMEA region, you will play a pivotal role in sourcing and managing strategic supplier relationships to support Oracle's global real estate and facilities needs. Based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, this position offers the opportunity to drive cost savings, ensure supply chain resilience, and optimize procurement processes across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact sourcing strategies in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for real estate leases, facilities maintenance, and construction services across the EMEA region
• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers through RFPs, RFQs, and competitive bidding processes to achieve optimal cost and quality
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to secure favorable agreements and mitigate risks
• Manage supplier performance, conduct regular reviews, and implement improvement plans to ensure compliance and service excellence
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including real estate, facilities, legal, and finance teams to align procurement activities with business objectives
• Analyze market trends, supplier capabilities, and total cost of ownership to drive category-specific savings and value creation
• Ensure adherence to Oracle's procurement policies, ethical standards, and regulatory requirements in EMEA markets
• Track key performance metrics, report on procurement KPIs, and contribute to continuous process improvements
• Support sustainability initiatives by prioritizing eco-friendly suppliers and green building practices in facilities procurement
• Resolve escalated supplier issues and manage disputes to minimize operational disruptions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management, with a focus on real estate or facilities categories
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier management
• Strong analytical skills with experience using procurement tools such as SAP Ariba, Oracle Procurement Cloud, or similar systems
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels
• In-depth knowledge of EMEA procurement regulations, real estate markets, and facilities management best practices
• Ability to travel up to 20% internationally as needed for supplier visits and regional meetings

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or MBA in Supply Chain, Procurement, or related discipline
• Professional certification such as CIPS, CPSM, or equivalent
• Experience in global Fortune 500 companies with multi-region sourcing responsibilities
• Familiarity with sustainable procurement practices and ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) frameworks
• Advanced proficiency in data analytics tools like Tableau or Power BI for procurement reporting
